A. H. Jaffor Ullah is a research biochemist by profession. Outside his science, he belongs to a progressive camp of writers from South Asia whose many essays have spawned debates in various Internet forums. Dr. Ullah’s association with ‘News from Bangladesh’ (NFB) dates back to 1997 when it was the only Internet newspaper published from Dhaka. He also helped the progressive Bangalee forum ‘Mukto-Mona’ to flourish since the day of its inception in 1999.
